Naked Thursdays

Most girls have either Naked 1,2 or 3 and if you are anything like me you adore your palette! I would be lost without Urban Decay’s Naked palettes, thank goodness they created them. These palettes are so handy for when you want to go from a day to night look or else if you are going away and don’t want to bring a huge makeup bag (yes this is a serious problem). I have had my Naked 1 palette since it came out and it is my favourite.

Every Thursday I am going to bring you a look created from one of these palettes. Some looks will cover day time looks and other will be night time and I will also show you how to go from day to night along with what brushes I use to create the eye makeup look. Often when you are faced with a whole palette of shadows it is hard to choose what one to go for and you often play it safe with your favourite one. My mission is to show you different looks I have created using usually two-three shadows. I don’t like to use too many as this can often over power the look.

For the first ‘Naked Thursday’ I used Naked 2 and I created an evening look, hence the dramatic eyelashes. I used Eylure lashes no. 27 which are double lashes so they give you a dramatic and fuller lash look. I like to use different lashes for different occasions and Eylure are by far my favourite and the best quality for the price you pay and you can reuse them too!

To start off I used ‘bootycall’ for the inner part of the lid as it is a nice creamy shimmer. I then used ‘snakebite’ which is a dark brown shimmer. I started my applying ‘snakebite’ to the crease of my lid and then blended it to meet ‘bootycall’.

I love using shadow under my eye to define the look. I usually will apply a shimmer like the gold one ‘chopper’ to the inner part of my eye and then use a darker shadow towards the edge of my eye to blend in with the shadow I used on my lid. I used a small amount of ‘snakebite’ for this, which is the same colour I used for blending on the lid.

Every Thursday I am going to bring you a new look from the Naked palettes so until next Thursday.

Stay Fabulous,
