What I wore – Dublin Fashion Festival Launch

Dublin Fashion is stronger than ever and this week marked the launch of Dublin Fashion Festival. The week long all things Fashionista festival will run from the 7th to the 13th of September 2015. At the launch, the fashion show gave us a very exciting insight in to what Dublin AW15 has to offer. I know the sun has come out this week but I have to say AW fashion is more my style. The fashion show did not disappoint showcasing the upcoming trends for the season ahead. Start saving ladies because if this fashion show was anything to go buy we will live in the shops this AW.

The fabulous Pippa O’Connor was announced as the face for #DublinFashion 2015 and personally I think this is a perfect match. I love Pippa’s style and her website www.pippa.ie has everything from upcoming style trends to Pippa’s own personal style. She really is a lady all about style and elegance. I got to meet Pippa on the night and she truly is the sweetest girl ever.

Repro Free: 12/08/2015 DublinTown has teamed up with Ireland’s most stylish lady, Pippa O’ Connor Ormond to launch the 2015 Dublin Fashion Festival. This year’s festival sees over 250 retailers, restaurants, bars and hotels in the city centre taking part in one of the city’s liveliest events from the 7th-13th of September. Putting a sense of fun and theatre back into shopping and socializing in the capital, Dublin Fashion Festival celebrates all things fashion, from catwalk shows on Henry St and Grafton St, to the championing of up and coming talent with the Young Designer of the Year and the Canon Young Photographer of the Year. Pictured here on the streets of DublinTown, Pippa is dressed in an outfit sourced almost entirely from Arnotts. Now onto what I wore, the juicy stuff! If you follow me on snapchat (username katekelly1) you would have seen videos from the night.

The Floral Crochet Bodycon dress I wore is from an online store called SheInside, it’s American. It was the first time I had ever used this site. Their sizes are quite petite so I would recommend going a size bigger than what you are. Shipping took 4 weeks for me so I would also recommend buying a few pieces at once. You deserve it after all and the prices are so good. A blogger I love to follow is Martina’s Mark, she is always in SheInside dresses and looks amazing in them so I said I would try them out too. You can buy this dress online here.

My handbag I am afraid is a copy, someday I will own my own Lulu Guinness handbag. I picked up this red lips clutch in Aldo about 2 years ago (sorry ladies) but I have found a few sites that do similar bags. This UK site has some excellent colours www.thewhitelabellondon.co.uk.

My shoes, now these are very special to me. A very personal present given to me by my mum and something I will always cherish. As you all know I am girl who is all about the shoes and these do not disappoint. From the main man himself, Mr. Christian Louboutin has an incredible artistic shoe collection. I wear them with joy as you know shoes are for enjoying not just for looking at.
