That Flamingo Dress

Did you ever buy something purely because it looked fun and quirky, not because it was practical or would ‘go with everything’. I think every girl needs a dress like this Flamingo one I bought from It’s girly, cute and just down right playful! When I first wore it on my holiday’s I didn’t want to take it off and that is why it deserves it’s very own outfit post. Yes this dress is a summer dress but I will make it work coming into Autumn, don’t you worry.

Let’s take a look at the accessories I used to style with my Flamingo Dress.

As a self confessed shoe addict, I actually only brought four pairs of shoes and one pair were runners. I was impressed with my packing. In all of these photos I am wearing a pair of sandals I bought in Dune London and I adore them. I originally bought them for my aunty in a nude shade and had to have them so I bought the two tone print for myself. I really wish the weather was better in Ireland so I could wear these all the time. Dune is possibly one of my favourite shoe shops. Any of the shoes I have bought from them have been super comfy. Bye bye blisters, hello comfort!

Let’s talk about hair accessories. Both pieces are from ASOS and I bought them recently. My scalp burns incredibly easily so I lived in this cute straw hat. The ribbon made it look so chic and glamorous which was perfect for the South of France. My flower head piece was originally bought to wear at a festival but thought it would be cute in the sun. I know flower head bands are so last season but this look is all about being fun remember.

Now onto my shades. Yes I brought six pairs of sunglasses on holidays, and I have no shame in saying I did. They are smaller than shoes after all. The pair in the top photo are from an Irish site called Betty and Biddy. A friend of mine had bought a few bits from them and their pieces are really fun and quirky, just my style. They have the most glitzy statement necklaces and you know me girls, anything sparkly and I want it! In the photos below I am wearing a white pair from Quay Australia and I bought them on ASOS. I love how ASOS has so many brands to choose from and all in one shopping place. You can buy my Quay Australia Sunglasses here.

Be prepared for more outfit posts about what I wore on my holiday’s to come later in the week.

Stay Fabulous,
