Parisian Chic

Take me back to Paris…please! I cannot believe it has been a week since I was in Paris. The time just flew. It was my first time to visit the city and I absolutely loved it. I am going to give each outfit it’s own separate post and talk about what I go up to that day too. This look is from my first day in Paris. While travelling I wanted to be comfy yet chic. When I go away I love to dress up so you will rarely see me in casual clothes, I save them for relaxing on the couch. I have a full foodie adventure post that I hope to have up at the end of the week because it’s a good one. I ate the most amazing food in Paris. Sweet or savory tooth, this city is for food lovers!

If you follow me on snapchat (katekelly1) you will have seen these ASOS boots numerous times. I actually adore them SO much. They are so pretty and super comfy too. I never want to take them off, considering buying a second pair for next year when these ones wear. We were doing so much walking around Paris that I needed a really comfortable pair of shoes. These ASOS beauties are my current favourite shoes and I don’t know if I will find a nicer pair that is actually comfy. I love anything sparkly and glittery especially in shoes!

We decided not to use the metro in Paris on our first day that we wanted to wander and find our own way. From our hotel The Eiffel Tower was about an hour away and we made our way that direction, stopping for a macaroon or two on the way. We walked past Notre-Dame Cathedral which was by far one of my favourite buildings in Paris. We saw The Eiffel Tower both in daylight and at night. Both atmospheres are completely different so I would recommend visiting twice if you have the time. We walked along the River Seine and passed the famous Love Lock Bridge.

I got my jacket online from last year but have worn it with everything. Boohoo still have these waterfall jackets in several styles and colours. I have a shorter one with sleeves and this one. Even without sleeves, this boohoo waterfall jacket is really warm. I think it dresses up and outfit and is perfect when your dress or skirt is slightly short and you need to cover up. Everyone has them but I love mine. The finishing touch to my Parisian outfit.

Stay Fabulous,

Love Kate x
