The Last Days of Summer

Can you believe we are half way through September already? This summer has been one of my busiest and craziest but I have loved every minute of the madness! In Ireland the weather in September always seems to pick up with sunny cool days that brings us into my favourite time of year, Autumn. I have been waiting all summer to buy a new Autumn jacket. I know I shouldn’t wish away time but Autumn clothes are my favourite. Cute fur details and extra layers are what I am all about.ms8

I’m thrilled to share with you this collaboration supported by Marks and Spencer & Shopping Links about how I found my dream Autumn jacket! I have wanted a jacket like this forever. My mum actually has a long version of a coat similar to the Marks & Spencer jacket I am wearing in this post and that is where my inspiration came from.

I never want to take this jacket off, it’s just perfect. As I am incredibly short, long coats can sometimes be too overpowering for my frame. When I was younger my mum always brought us to Marks & Spencer to pick out a new coat whether for school or for Christmas. I love the quality of Marks & Spencer and their coats really do last for years. When choosing a coat I tend to go for a piece that won’t date so I’ll get the most wear out of it.

A jacket like this Marks & Spencer Faux Suede Jacket can be styled in so many ways. In my post I have showed you two different ways I would wear this jacket. The first is with a cream lace blouse and the second with a floral blouse, both from Marks & Spencer. Adding a pop of colour or keeping it neutral this jacket is so easy to wear. It’s a true statement piece in my Autumn wardrobe, which I know I will get so much wear from. Another thing which is great about Marks & Spencer is you can order online and pick up your clothes in a store near you. I found this incredibly handy.
